About us

The Peat Spade Inn sits on the banks of the river Test in the heart of the Hampshire countryside, famed for being the fly fishing capital of the world. The cosy bar and award-winning restaurant welcome both locals and guests from further afield, many of which come to stay in one of the eight luxury bedrooms and to enjoy the outstanding fishing opportunities. The hotel welcomes corporate or private groups whether for parties or sporting visits. Two private dining rooms can seat up to 20 guests each and the inn can provide picnic hampers for riverside lunches.
