The US Army War College educates and develops leaders for service at the strategic level while advancing knowledge in the global application of Landpower.
The purpose of US Army War College at this time in our Nation's history is to produce graduates from all our courses who are skilled critical thinkers and complex problem solvers in the global application of Landpower. Concurrently, it is our duty to the Army to also act as a "Think Factory" for Commanders and Civilian Leaders at the strategic level worldwide and routinely engage in discourse and debate on ground forces' role in achieving national security objectives. We will accomplish this dual purpose along the following lines of effort:
In 1783, Benjamin Rush, a revolutionary in both spirit and life, established Dickinson College with the intent of providing a different kind of liberal-arts education.
Here, students are encouraged to be actively engaged with the wider world and challenged to think differently and act boldly. Dickinsonians are guided by a core set of tenets—to be decisive, useful, curious and unafraid to take risks.
We produce critical thinkers who see how everything is connected. Graduates forever ready to make a difference.
This is how we’ve taught successful graduates of all kinds, from lawyers to researchers to writers to CEOs. Dickinson’s brand of liberal arts has been around for more than 200 years for one reason—it works.
Messiah College is a top-ranked private college of the liberal and applied arts and sciences in the northeastern U.S. With a reputation for successfully integrating rigorous academics and Christian faith into all of our academic programs, we offer 150+ undergraduate and pre-professional degree options and 27 graduate degree and certificate programs.

Pennsylvania’s Capitol is, first and foremost, a public building belonging to the citizens of the Commonwealth. It is also a priceless architectural and artistic treasure, a majestic symbol of history and power, and an icon of democracy and freedom.
The Pennsylvania State Capitol Complex is comprised of the buildings owned by the Commonwealth and are centered around the capitol in downtown Harrisburg.
The Pennsylvania Capitol Grounds, officially named Capitol Park, comprises more than 45 acres. Originally comprising 15 acres, from the lands of John Harris Jr. and U.S. Senator William Maclay, the remaining 29 acres were added when the state bought Harrisburg's Eighth Ward. Architect Arnold Brunner designed the current layout which inlcudes the North Office Building, Irvis Office Building, Forum and Finance buildings and Soldiers' Grove.
