Yes, Mandarin Oriental, Doha has taken significant steps to reduce single-use plastics throughout the hotel. As part of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s global sustainability initiative, Naturally Better, we have successfully eliminated nearly all single-use plastic items across our operations. This includes the removal of plastic straws, stirrers, and cotton buds, which have been replaced with environmentally friendly alternatives. Straws are now provided only upon request for guests who may require them for accessibility purposes. In addition, we have introduced a range of eco-friendly amenities and sustainable packaging solutions in our guest rooms and dining outlets. These actions are part of our commitment to reducing waste and protecting the environment, in line with our Green Key and GSTC sustainability certifications. Through these efforts, Mandarin Oriental, Doha continues to strive for excellence in responsible hospitality and environmental stewardship.
