NH Erlangen is a 4-star venue which is centrally located. When staying at NH Erlangen you’ve got everything you wish for: a location to host your business meeting, a place to stayover and facilities to relax after a long day. Moreover, the convention center Heinrich-Lades-Halle is just 5 minutes away and there are many bars, restaurant and shops within walking distance. The venue is easy accessible for business travelers: by public transport (busses) and by car. Whether you would like to organize a training session, presentation or a conference, it is all possible at NH Erlangen. We have 7 modern and well-equipped meeting rooms at our disposal where you can host up to 120 people. All room are standard equipped with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a projector, a flip-over and high quality furniture. Furthermore, all meeting rooms come with lots of natural daylight thanks to its large windows. Our Event Team is here to arrange anything for you and to meet all yours needs and wishes. They could also help arrange the ideal menu for your business meeting or private lunches or dinners as well as arranging cocktail parties. Upon request, you could also rent the hotel’s patio which is located on the 8th floor. The sky is the limit. If you are planning to visit Erlangen for multiple days, you could stay over at NH Erlangen. We offer 138 guest rooms in different categories: standard single, standard double, superior, deluxe and junior suite with terrace. All rooms are decorated in bright colors and are equipped with ultra-modern facilities and high quality pillows and bed mattresses. They are all standard equipped with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a minibar, a safe, flat-screen TV and bathroom amenities. Besides the standard rooms, all other room types come with a bathrobe and slippers too. Every morning you can enjoy our freshly prepared breakfast buffet which includes a wide variety of fresh fruit juices, pastries, cold cuts, cheeses, fruit, yogurt, breads and much more. For the ones who need to wake up extra early we offer our exclusive “early-bird breakfast”. For lunch and dinner you could visit the hotel’s El Toro Bar. Enjoy local and international lunches or dinners, light snacks or a drink while you are reading a magazine or while relaxing. The bar is daily open. Throughout the day you could make use of our room service. On the 1st and 8th floor we have a unique outdoor terrace. It’s set with tables and chairs. A nice spot to relax and to enjoy a drink while enjoying the beautiful weather. If you would like to exercise a little, you could visit our fitness area. It’s open 24/7. Lockers and towels are available. Other facilities which NH Erlangen offer are a laundry service, dry cleaning service, wake-up service and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The front desk is open 24/7 and the venue is wheelchair accessible.

The Huguenot Church in Erlangen was the first Huguenot church outside France, and it was built as a donation from Margrave Christian Ernst between 1686 and 1693 according to plans by Johann Moritz Richter. This was the beginning of the establishment of Erlangen´s New Town. In the church, the Margrave and his wife had their own box to attend services. Visitors may take note of the valuable pulpit (1700) and the Baroque organ (1755/64) by Johann Nikolaus Ritter

Between 1700 and 1704, the "Markgrafenschloss" has been built according to plans by Antonio della Porta and Jacques Bourdin de la Fond in Baroque style with influences of French classicism. The building was finally completed by Gottfried von Gedeler. The atticas are home to sandstone statues by Elias Räntz. Today, the "Markgrafenschloss" accomodates the administration of the university Erlangen-Nuernberg.

By Walderlebniszentrum and its well patronized forest workshop we want to awaken the joy of man to nature and the forest in the region. The baroque park complex was heavily influenced by Versailles in certain features. The eastern part was redesigned in the English style. The fountain, designed in 1705 by Elias Räntz, shows the members of leading Huguenot families at the bottom level, in the middle you can see ancient deities and at the top there is Margrave Christian Ernst. The unfinished statue of the margrave on horseback, made in 1711/12, was also made by Räntz. The sandstone block to design the monument has been hewn from the quarries on “Burgberg" hill. Opening hours: Summer (May 1st - September 30th): 6:00 am. - 9:00 pm. Winter: 6:00 am. - 8:00 pm.
