Why Choose Our Destination?
The town of Hostalric, is just over 3km2 in area and has a population of 4,000. It stands on the left bank of the Tordera River, where it meets the Arbúcies stream. Hostalric is neighbour to several larger country towns and is the smallest municipality in the county of la Selva. Hostalric is a municipality with a privileged location.Situated on the edge of the la Selva plain it is less than an hour from the nearest cities, the coast and the mountains. Girona is about 40 km from Hostalric and Barcelona about 60 km. The nearest beaches are Blanes and Malgrat, which are some 20 km away, and in just over half an hour we can reach two natural mountain parks, Montseny, which lies further inland, and Montnegre, which is closer to the sea.
