The German Bundesliga club, RasenBallsport Leipzig, plays its home matches at the stadium bowl in front of up 43,500 fans. Built to meet the FIFA World Cup 2006 requirements, the turquoise blue oval also provides an excellent setting for open air concerts: Paul McCartney, Herbert Grönemeyer, Genesis, Bon Jovi, Depeche Mode, AC/DC, Coldplay, Udo Lindenberg, Helene Fischer, Bruce Springsteen and others have performed under the sky in front of 50,000 spectators, creating goosebump moments.
