Tayside Hotel was originally built to serve Anglers who came from far and wide to fish for salmon on the River Tay the Tayside has been welcoming weary travelers with good food and a warm bed for over 100 years. The Hotel's Function Room holds up to 165 people and is ideal for birthday celebrations, wedding receptions, charity fundraising events and festive parties. It is here that the annual Stanley Ceilidh is staged with over 400 people traveling from near and far to participate or just to enjoy the great music played over the course of this 3 day festival in early November. The hotel provides 14 rooms in the service of the guests to choose from. All the rooms are well equipped with all the amenities necessary to make the stay of the guests memorable. Birthdays, anniversaries, private dinners, dinner dances, christenings, fundraising nights - here at the Tayside we have been the perfect venue for these and more besides. Whatever the reason for the get-together we will work with you to produce an event that is exactly what you want without you needing to take on any of the hassle.
