Uetia de Boerz Mountain Inn is situated on 2,000 meters above sea level at the stunning Passo delle Erbe/Würzjoch, a small, picturesque Alpine pass in the heart of the Dolomites in South Tyrol. It is a popular destination for day trips thanks to its spectacular panorama and easy-to-reach location. Ütia de Börz Alpine inn at Passo delle Erbe/Würzjoch is an excellent departure point for a variety of tours, such as the summit tour, the loop trail around Sas de Pütia/Peitlerkofel, one of the most renowned mountains of the region, which offers superb vistas of the surrounding scenery. Legend has it that on clear days, you can see as far as Venice from up there. In winter, the resort is popular with fans of cross-country skiing, tobogganing and winter hiking. The area around Passo delle Erbe/Würzjoch is sometimes also referred to as "Little Alaska" thanks to its pristine, rough nature.

We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
