Darjeeling is a definite access by air, road and train. Bagdogra is the nearest flying field that is more or less 90 km from Darjeeling. Regular Air services obtainable from various cities by Indian Airlines, Sahara, Deccan, Jet Airways. Taxis and buses are obtainable from bagodara to Darjeeling taking 2-3 hrs to succeed in Darjeeling. Visitors go crazy over the toy Train that runs between new jalpaiguri to Darjeeling. Darjeeling, in Winter Season experiences minimum Temperature of: one.5oC, most – 6oC and In Summer Temperature: Minimum – eight.5oC, Maximum – 20oC. During the Monsoon Season, rain is Average 3092 metric linear unit. It is advisable to avoid visiting during monsoon season, although Best time to go to Darjeeling is April to June & September to Dec. People who have a home that's cuddled by this hill resort are clearly the lucky few that dwell in paradise.
