Vacala Bay Eco Resort is Fiji's most luxurious private holiday Villas. Ultimate privacy and pampering including your own chef, Villa staff and nanny on request. It is located on the island of Taveuni. Taveuni is the most beautiful and diverse island of all the 333 islands of the Fiji archipelago. It is well known as the Garden island of Fiji for its fertile volcanic soil, exquisite waterfalls, dense forests, and it's unique birds and flowers that exist no where else on earth. Vacala Bay Eco Resort was carefully planned and designed from the ground up to prove that ecological sustainability can be achieved and unique local materials can be used to create a magical sense of place - Taveuni, the Garden Island of Fiji. Floors are made from the polished river stones that have tumbled down through many waterfalls from Des Voeux peak, one of the highest points on Taveuni, for eons. The Villa’s 21 foot ceilings remove the heated air from above. This same movement replaces the warm air with cool moist air from above our wrap around pool. All rooms have louvered windows and or sliding doors on every exterior wall and large effective ceiling fans.
