Umeälven har gett namn till Home Hotel Uman, som ligger centralt på Storgatan i Umeå. Denna gamla läkarvilla, som utgör huvudbyggnaden, har varit inspiration för hotellets tema. Gratis kvällsbuffémåltid från 18:00 till 21:00 och gratis eftermiddagskaffe och te med våfflor från 15:00 till 17:00. Fri tillgång till bastu och relaxavdelning. Också stor frukostbuffé ingår i rumspriset. Barn 12 år och yngre bor gratis om de delar rum med föräldrar eller morföräldrar när ingen extrasäng krävs. 100% rökfritt hotell.
