Miller Howe is one of only a few Luxury Lake District Hotels in Windermere. It is set in five and a half acres of beautiful grounds in the heart of the English Lake District overlooking the shores of Lake Windermere. From the peaceful, green landscaped grounds to the cinematic views from the house, Miller Howe has been designed very much with the outdoors in mind. Thanks to our privileged location you can look out over the lake and fells whether you are sitting on our terrace, relaxing in the lounge or enjoying a candle lit dinner in the restaurant. Individually designed and beautifully furnished – each of our 15 bedrooms is named after a Lakeland beauty spot. The 6 Lake View rooms on the first and second floors boast stunning panoramic views across Windermere towards the Langdale Pikes and beyond. Each room has its own balcony and comfortable seating, the perfect location to relax and drink in this inspiring scene.

Climb aboard our classic yacht and take in Seattle’s waterfront views of beautiful Lake Union and adjoining waterways. You’ll have the best seat in the house while cruising aboard the classic 42′ Grand Banks yacht, the Rainbird. The Rainbird is meticulously maintained and cared for, and shows it throughout. The vessel offers comfort throughout with comfortable seating in the deck area, a fly bridge deck gives you a second floor viewing area for entertaining and taking in the incredible views of Seattle’s awesome sunsets, and a lounge below-deck to get out of the wind, if desired, with refrigerator, stove, oven and microwave. There are also two staterooms, each with its own ‘head’ and shower. The master stateroom has a center island queen bed with an office desk. The forward stateroom offers double twin-size beds in a v-berth layout. The Rainbird is centrally located, close to downtown Seattle, Lake Union, U of W, and Lake Washington.
