Anna's Collection - Moolmanshof, 1798, is said to be the oldest house still standing in Swellendam. Lizette Hendry, your host and the owner of Anna's Collection, was introduced to this beautiful old Manor House as the result of an unexpected visit for tea at Moolmanshof(1798) nine years ago. This house was really old, something that cannot actually be built. Needless to say, the Offer to Purchase was signed the same day. Restoration followed and the Long Street shops were frequented for furnishing this National Monument. It is a classic example of a Cape Dutch style farmhouse and is situated on the last remaining hectare of the original farm. Stroll around the park-like gardens, relax under the oaks and watch newly hatched owlets peering from their nest or just cool off in the sparkling saltwater pool.
