The Sun is the first public house that visitors to Swindon see if they arrive westbound from the M4 and often the first that families head for in the summertime. Today, The Sun is one of Arkell's larger pubs and after it was extensively refurbished in 1989 it has continued to be one of the most popular in Swindon whether customers are seeking out good beer or good food or both.
