More

The Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney is the city’s leading five-star deluxe hotel. Located in the historic Rocks district between the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. In October 2011, the hotel completed a refurbishment of 477 guestrooms and suites on levels 4 – 29. Room features include a minimum room size of 40 sq metres, luxurious bedding and custom design furniture, complimentary WiFi and Broadband internet and purpose built window seating to take in the vistas below. Just 2 months ago we again completed updating the property with 90 newly refurbished Horizon Club rooms and Australia’s biggest and most sophisticated club lounge in a five-star hotel, after a much-anticipated multi-million dollar renovation. The Horizon Club Lounge on Level 30 is now more than 20 per cent bigger at 335 square metres and commands Australia’s best hotel view via 13 metre-high windows spanning four storeys. The 36storey building has unobstructed views of Sydney’s two most iconic landmarks, the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, from its prime position in bustling heritage listed area The Rocks. The 90 newly refurbished rooms and suites are among the biggest in the city, ranging from 40 to 60 square metres and suites from 83 square metres. The Presidential Suite commands the highest position of any suite in the hotel and has 170 square metres of living space, with one bedroom, separate sitting room, kitchenette and dining room and a refreshed décor with new carpets and upholstery. The Royal Suite offers the hotel's most luxurious and impressive accommodation and personal service. At 242 square metres, it has the hotel’s biggest bedroom, a double lounge room, executive study room and dining room with seating for ten next to a kitchenette. Its newly refreshed soft furnishings mean the guest’s hotel experience has been elevated to a new level of luxury.
