The Erie Canal Museum, in Syracuse, New York is a museum about the Erie Canal across New York. It is located in the Weighlock Building, itself listed on the National Register of Historic Places of the United States. When the Erie Canal Museum opened its doors on October 25, 1962, it celebrated and preserved the life of the last remaining Weighlock Building in America. This Greek revival building stands as a monument to the importance of the Erie Canal to the history of the United States. It is housed in a weigh lock building dating from 1850, where canal boats used to be weighed when travelling through Syracuse on the canal. The museum includes a gallery of present canal life. Today, the Museum, which is accredited by the American Association of Museums, is visited annually by many thousands of visitors from all 50 states and many foreign countries.

THE JMA Wireless Dome is a 49,262-seat sports stadium located on the campus of Syracuse University (SU). It is the only domed stadium in the Northeast, and is the largest structure of its kind on a college campus in the country.
