Villa De Rubeis-Florit is een adellijke 18e-eeuwse residentie in Friuli die dateert uit de 13e eeuw. Het oudste deel van de villa, waarvan de helft ondergronds is gebouwd, is de 13e-eeuwse wijnkelder met verlaagd tongewelf met veel tunnels die lang geleden werden gebruikt als ondergrondse gangen naar andere erfgoedwoningen of als ontsnappingstunnels. Conventies, zakelijke bijeenkomsten, cursussen, seminars, rondetafelgesprekken, werkgroepen: de kamers met kostbaar stucwerk en palladiaanse steen zijn de ideale plek om elkaar te ontmoeten in een prachtige historische omgeving. De prachtige blauwe kamer uit de 17e eeuw van de villa is verfraaid met stucwerk en is de ideale keuze voor exclusieve recepties en bruiloften, terwijl de tuinen en de inkomhal een uitstekende oplossing zijn voor cocktailparty's.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
