About us

The Sports Center situated close to the center of Andalo, on a flat area of over 100,000 square meters, adds exceptionally to the wide-ranging services provided for those staying in the area. In excitingly close concentration, in fact, you will find numerous sports structures, from the football field, complete with an athletics course, to crazy golf, from the rock gymnasium to football and basketball pitches, from the volleyball pitch to arrow-shooting, from the covered swimming pool to the brand new ice-skating stadium which, with its rink of 1,800 square meters, can satisfy summer and winter tourists as well as athletic skaters wishing to train in artistic skating and hockey; also to be noted are the games rooms and the riding center which offers the opportunity to practice all kinds of equestrian sports or to take a merry trip in a horse-drawn carriage. This center has got a conference building that comprises of conference rooms and meeting rooms that can be suitable for meetings, seminars and events.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout. Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
