About us

Horse Country is located on the central-west side of the island, an ideal meeting point between the inland and the coast. The resort is easily accessible from the major ports and airports and it is possible to organize transportation to and from them for single individuals or groups. Large reception halls, original menus, flower compositions and musical entertainment are the basis of our offer at Horse Country. However, for those who want a very special ceremony or party, Horse Country can offer spectacular country settings with horses, carriages and equestrian performances. There is a wide range of proposals that can be customized and adapted for events with up to 500 guests. The Horse Country Conference Centre brings the architectural harmony of the resort together with functionality. The large size of the meeting hall, with a seating capacity of approximately 1000, allows for hosting all kinds of formal and informal events. The Horse Country Resort Sardinia offers its guests the opportunity to stay in 3 different 4 star hotels, immersed in an ancient pine forest in Arborea, less than one hundred meters from the sea. There are more than 900 beds in charming rooms that are well designed in a mix of modern and traditional Sardinian. All the rooms are equipped with every comfort and private facilities.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
