About us
Château le Haget is one of the loveliest chateaux in the Gers. It lies within a stone’s throw of Montesquiou, a little village in the heart of Gascony, the homeland of d’Artagnan. In the ‘Tuscany of France’ with its green and golden hills it seems as if time has been standing still. The chateau is situated in the midst of a magnificent park with many exotic trees, brought back in the 19th century by its first owner from his many travels. There is a big swimming pool with a pleasant terrace, a children’s playground, table tennis tables and a boules court. Château Le Haget goes back to the 19th century. It contains, among others, a big dining room, a hunting room and 10 attractively decorated guest rooms. Every room has its own atmosphere and its own history. In any case they are still fairy tale like, although adapted to the demands of modern comfort. Seminars with a maximum of 60 persons can be organised at Le Haget. Three rooms, including necessary material such as a projector, paper-board, ADSL, etc, are at the disposal of our clients. Receptions, marriages, family parties and more: at Le Haget everything is available and can be tailor-made to meet your needs. A multitude of possibilities is offered to the client, who remains in control, but has a professional team at hand to help out and provide necessary advice for a perfect success.
