In 1878, Thomas Dudley Wooten, one of the founders of the University of Texas, purchased the land on which Hotel Ella now sits. Hello! I have been a small business owner and band leader in the Austin area for over 12 years. In that time I have released 9 records and played over 1,000 private events. Before I started my professional music career, I was a corporate buyer while moonlighting as a musician, so I am very familiar with the requirements and decorum of the corporate world. My wife and I live outside the city and have two small daughters. I am also co-owner of a local indie record label and enjoy helping other artists get their music heard.
