About us
Horizon Hotel in Ayr can cater for as many as 150 guests, with our dedicated staff providing a first class service that is attentive yet unobtrusive. Whether your stay in The Horizon Hotel is for business or pleasure, our delightful family run hotel offers a range of tastefully decorated and well equipped bedrooms. All rooms are en-suite. Glasgow Prestwick is the only airport in Scotland served by its own railway station which is accessible by a covered walkway to/from the airport. From here you can travel 3 stops to Ayr Station, which is a 6 minute journey from Glasgow Prestwick International Airport Railway station. You will be able to take a 5 minute taxi directly to our front door. Our stylish sea-facing Vista Bar & Restaurant makes dining with us an experience to savor, offering classic Scottish cuisine and boasting panoramic views across the Clyde to Arran. Let our warm, friendly staff guide you through our wide and varied menu which features delicious dishes using many locally sourced ingredients.
