Our overarching goal is to minimize our environmental footprint, ensuring a brighter, healthier future for generations to come. The Leela Palace Bengaluru has been taking substantial measures to diminish our carbon footprint, enhance guest well-being, and bolster community development. Initiatives include the commissioning of the Aujasya in-house water bottling plant, replacing plastic packaged drinking water bottles, a specially curated Aujasya wellness and zero waste menu, an EV charging station, and partnering with Jodhpur Mahila Griha Udhyog for sourcing embroidered and sustainable housekeeping bags. 85% of energy requirement is met through renewable energy sourced from our windmills and our bath amenities with Tishya by The Leela, are 100% vegan, paraben, and SLS-free, alongside biodegradables-based amenities. The hotel is a part of Beyond Green, the Preferred Hotel’s global portfolio of the most sustainable hotels around the world, and holds certifications including the IGBC Green Building (EB), IGBC Net Zero Waste, and ISO 9001, 14001, 22001, and 45001.
