Nestled in the heart of the Ozarks, Bentonville is a destination like no other. Boasting over 80 miles of purpose-built, progressive soft-surface cycling trails, it has earned its title as the Mountain Bike Capital of the World. But Bentonville's appeal stretches far beyond its trails. This city is alive with creativity, where public art adorns every corner, world-class museums like Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art—designed by the legendary Moshe Safdie—showcase iconic American works, and award-winning chefs transform the culinary scene into an unforgettable adventure.
What was once known as Walmart's corporate hub has undergone a cultural renaissance in the past decade, evolving into a community bursting with energy. Live music fills the air, family-focused venues like the Scott Family Amazeum ignite imaginations, and every experience invites visitors to discover something extraordinary. Bentonville isn’t just a destination—it’s where innovation and inspiration converge, offering something for everyone to love.

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art welcomes all to celebrate the American spirit in a setting that unites the power of art with the beauty of nature.
This is a beautiful setting for opening celebrations, receptions and other unforgettable events for your guests.
Located on the northeast corner of the Bentonville town square and a short walk to Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, 21c Museum Hotel Bentonville is a 104-room boutique hotel, contemporary art museum, cultural civic center, and home to The Hive restaurant.
When Sam Walton opened his 5&10 on the Bentonville town square in 1950, he had no idea he'd planted the seeds for what would become the global leader in retail, saving millions of people money so they could live better. Today, that humble little dime store is the location of the Walmart Visitor Center. A family-friendly experience in three parts, the Visitor Center features a world-class exhibit gallery, Walton's 5&10, and The Spark Café Soda Fountain.
From their earliest days, people inquire, explore, and soak up ideas, and they thrive in environments rich with stimulation. From childhood, they gather information that will guide them throughout their lives; they never stop asking questions, and they depend on everyone around-parents, friends, community-to join them in this amazing adventure.
The Amazeum, a family learning center coming to Northwest Arkansas, is the dream of a community-to educate people in the best ways possible for whatever lies ahead and to engage the entire family in exploration, learning, and fun.
The Peel Mansion & Heritage Gardens in Bentonville serve as a living display of that period for those touring the mansion and gardens as well as those who rent the 1875 mansion to create personal memories of their own.
The Peel Mansion & Heritage Gardens were built in 1875 by Colonel Samuel West Peel. Much care was taken in erecting this magnificent house, a wonderful example of the Italianate Villa Style.
The interior of the house was furnished with authentic antiquities and artifacts of the era, generously loaned by the Historic Arkansas Museum and the Old State House.
The Peel Mansion & Heritage Gardens offers a variety of event options. We can accommodate your wedding ceremony, reception, and / or rehearsal dinners, group luncheons and tours, or civic or corporate events.
Imagine a green oasis that serves as a public park for the residents of Bentonville and beyond. This 6.5 acre garden has been developed into an Ozark native garden which is quickly becoming a regional destination and special events venue. Residents and visitors are able to take advantage of this beautiful and peaceful environment that contains a native plant collection.
Compton Gardens and Conference Center are named after Dr. Neil Compton, a noted Bentonville physician, writer, photographer, founder of the Ozark Society, and savior of the Buffalo River.
The Conference Center is the re-modeled home of Dr. Compton and now serves as a rental facility for seminars, conferences, workshops, retreats, intimate weddings, and private events. The Garden is available for film and commercial photo shoots.
The Museum of Native American History invites you to "Walk Through America's Past," where we will give you a glimpse into what life was like for America's first inhabitants. The museum is divided into five different time periods that will guide you through the constant changing lives of the Native Americans, as seen through their artifacts . Our displays feature relics that date from over 14,000 years old to historic times.
