About us
Ideally situated on the outskirts of Bloemfontein, exactly 2.7km from the Walter Sisulu Road off-ramp on the N1, Haldon Estate is easily accessible and boasts a unique tranquil atmosphere with luxurious accommodation facilities, surrounded by an ancient English style garden complete with rolling lawns and established huge trees. Set at the foot of Brandkop on 13 hectares, the old English Herbert Baker style house boasts a long historical lineage and the garden and accommodation facilities which range from a luxurious Honeymoon suite through to affordable country style double and single rooms with family units and family cottage make it the ideal wedding and function venue. Estate has developed a repertoire over the past decade of hosting professional conferences and exclusive functions. Haldon Estate proudly offers various venues and facilities to suit any conference, function or event. The large conference room namely ‘The Org du Plessis Saal/Hall’ and the small conference room, ‘The Kobie Strachan Room’ accommodate from 15 and up to 150 delegates, are available for conferencing, team building and corporate functions! The bush lapa and swimming pool can be hired for informal events such as birthday celebrations and family reunions.
