About us
Welcome to Farlam Hall Hotel where we as a family are able to offer you a unique experience. Farlam is the perfect place to escape from the real world and enjoy the elegance of a past era combined with the best of modern life. Farlam Hall Hotel is situated 12.5 miles South East of Carlisle on the A689 Brampton to Alston road. 12 double/twins all with private bathroom. 2 are on the ground floor one of which is a four poster bedroom with only a bathroom - no shower and the other a twin. 1 is located in a stable conversion a few moments walk from the hotel. We have 3 licensed rooms available offering a choice of style. The dining room will seat up to 40 people in traditional style with upright chairs. The 2 lounges with the large comfortable style of seating lend themselves to a much more relaxed style. The front lounge can seat up to 25 and the drawing room up to 40.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
