About us
The prestigious BTP Technology & Conference Centre is centrally located in the heart of the Brisbane Technology Park, and is just 10 minutes drive from the Brisbane CBD. The BTP Centre is one of Brisbane's largest conferencing venues, and can accommodate events ranging from 20 to 750 people. The multi-functional auditorium can be subdivided into 2 or 3 smaller conferencing rooms, whilst the spacious atrium with its natural light and unique marble terrazzo floor panel is ideal for hosting exhibitions and trade shows, or can be enjoyed as a break area. The BTP Centre is a modern conferencing venue offering a variety of services and facilities. Our flexibility and uncompromising service make the BTP Centre an ideal venue for your event. The purpose-built BTP Conference Centre offers flexible space to cater for conferences, exhibitions, trade shows, functions and meetings of all sizes. With the main auditorium able to accommodate 650 people auditorium or 450 people dining, the venue’s adaptable layout means areas can be sub-divided into separate, smaller rooms for break-out focus groups, meetings, seminars or workshops.

Catering: Catering is an important element to any conference. The resident catering team at the BTP Centre can provide a range of catering solutions for all of your food and beverage requirements – from morning coffee, lunches and BBQ's to cocktail parties and banquets. Our catering menus are attached for your perusal, or alternatively our catering team can create a menu to suit your individual requirements. The BTP Centre also boasts an onsite licensed cafe. Pinstripe Cafe is open from 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday, and boasts indoor and outdoor dining facilities. A variety of meal options are available, and range from early morning coffee to gourmet sandwiches and light snacks. A full a la carte menu is also available along with the chef's daily specials board. Car Parking & Transport: Brisbane Technology Park is located just 10 minutes drive from the Brisbane CBD, and is easily accessible to all major arterial roads and the Brisbane International Airport. The BTP Centre boasts an on-site car park, and car parking is available free of charge. Please note that parking spaces may become limited with larger event bookings. Should you wish to take public transport, the BTP Centre is located within a short walk of the Eight Mile Plains Busway Station. Audio Visual & Internet Services: AV is an integral component to any conference. The BTP Centre can provide all of the latest state-of-the-art audio visual equipment for your conference – please refer to the attached price list. Alternatively our preferred AV supplier can also assist in providing access to the latest audio visual technology and specialist technicians. The BTP Centre has the very latest in high speed internet and data access with broadand capabilities. BTP is equipped with a Fiber Optic backbone and has Gigabit Ethernet capability. The standard Internet access at BTP is 100Mbit. A variety of phone/internet and data connectivity options are available. Accommodation: The Travelodge Garden City is located just 2 minutes drive from the BTP Centre, and corporate rates for BTP event clients are available. Alternatively, a variety of accommodation is available within the Brisbane CBD.
