Discover a unique historic getaway at The Read House hotel, where modern-day comfort meets timeless Chattanooga charm. In June 2019, The Read House finished a $26 million-dollar renovation and the “Great Gatsby” returns to Chattanooga. In April 2025, The Read House presented The Garden, an unforgettable outdoor lawn along with the completion of 50 renovated Manor Rooms. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown, our landmark property is walking distance from the top businesses and Convention Center in Chattanooga. Whether you’re planning an intimate board meeting for 12 people or a stylish dinner banquet for over 300 guests, our flexible venues can be tailored to suit virtually any gathering. Our staff will work with you to customize catering menus for luncheons, coffee breaks, dinners, cocktail hours and more.
