About us
The Hotel Calf's Head can be located in Clitheroe, England. Nestled at the foot of Pendle Hill, the Calf's Head is a Country House Hotel, Restaurant and Watering Hole with eleven quality en-suite bedrooms and stunning views across the countryside including Pendle Fell. Nestled at the foot of Pendle the Calf's Head is a Country House Hotel, Restaurant and Watering Hole with a history stretching back at least 400 years. The current building was built in late Victorian times replacing an ale farmhouse on the site. Part of the cellar is from that original building. It remained attached to a working farm up until the 1950's. To the happy couple their wedding day is something special. To all of us at the Calf's Head it is also something special. That is why we treat every wedding as a unique occasion tailored to the stars of the day. We believe in flexibility. So you tell us what you want and where you want it and we will do our very best to see it happens. With care and attention from the initial enquiry right through, you can relax in the knowledge that everything is in safe hands. Taking the time to discuss your individual requirements and desires will help create a relaxed stress free day. We have eleven individually styled rooms with en-suite bath and/or showers. We also have a deluxe bedroom (room 1) with a double jacuzzi that perfect for honeymooners and romantic weekends away. Both this room and several others have stunning views over Pendle Fell and surrounding countryside.
