About us

Welcome to the Elgin Hotel situated near the ancient city of Dunfermline. The Elgin Hotel is a beautiful country house hotel situated in the tranquil and picturesque village of Charlestown, only a ten minute drive from Dunfermline. Whether you are here on business, coming to stay with us or simply dropping by for lunch or dinner you can enjoy beautiful views from the hotel over the Firth of Forth, The Pentland Hills and the world famous Forth Bridges. The Elgin Hotel was recently voted one of Scotland's best wedding venues. Its beautiful chapel provides an intimate and idyllic setting for your special day. The secluded self-contained function suite is perfect for weddings, conferences and all types of private functions, catering for up to 160 people with its own private bar.
