About us
Kloster Eberbach – conference- and event location with a unique ambiance! Maybe you remember Eberbach monastery as the film location of the Hollywood Block buster “The name of the rose” with Sean Connery as leading actor. Although more than 25 years have passed since, the magic of the site is still the same. The internationally well known winery Kloster Eberbach and the renowned restaurant "Klosterschaenke" and the guesthouse are completing our location. Conference rooms for small meetings as well as annual conferences for hundreds of persons allow enduring and enriching experiences. Exclusive ideas can be realized in our spaces and gardens for up to 1400 persons. The ambiance of this former monastery will always be remembered. All earnings of the charitable foundation Kloster Eberbach are invested into the preservation of the ancient walls. Whoever is having an event in Eberbach monastery helps to maintain the site in a very sustainable way. The closeness to one of Germany’s most important metropolis Frankfurt and the adjacent international airport make this appealing, historical site the perfect location for international clientele. Far from noisy traffic routes, Eberbach monastery is the venue for encounters, dialogue and enjoyment.
