About us
Welcome to Windy Harbour Farm Hotel, situated in a rural location just outside Glossop, in Derbyshire. With views over the Woodhead and Longdendale we are in an unrivalled position on the edge of the Peak District. Windy Harbour Farm Hotel, in Glossop, is a family owned business offering a warm welcome, home cooked food and a well stocked bar often serving speciality cask ales. Windy Harbour Farm Hotel has five double rooms (one with king size bed) and one twin room on a bed and breakfast or half board basis. Each room is individually furnished and has stunning views over the surrounding Derbyshire countryside. Windy Harbour Farm Hotel has a license to hold civil wedding ceremonies up to 120. The hotel three rooms offer a capacity of up to 160 people for wedding receptions, private parties and functions.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
