Original documentation shows the Hotel Baren was built at the end of the 15th century. After being comprehensively renovated to the highest ecological standards, it offers 15 modern and lovingly furnished double rooms. Come and convince yourself. Whether for Sunday brunch with Appenzell Tafelmusik playing while you eat, family or sporting holidays, cultural trips, a pilgrimage on the route to Santiago de Compostela, weddings or meetings, corporate dinners and/or seminars, or as a departure point for motorbike or cycle tours, snowshoe hiking or cross-country skiing – the Bären provides the perfect ambience for your stay and suitable space for your celebratory or business occasions.
