About us

The purpose built Rothamsted Conference Centre provides an extensive range of first class facilities including a tiered 300-seat auditorium for formal conferences and musical performances with state of the art audio visual and media streaming capabilities, a large galleried area for exhibitions and displays that can serve as an additional auditorium to seat up to 200, six break-out seminar rooms to accommodate 10 – 100 people for sessions in boardroom or theatre styles, a restaurant catering for everything from the relaxed lunch to the more formal pre-conference dinner or awards evenings for up to 220, and a fully equipped press room with high speed Wi-Fi and advanced media facilities. Serviced by excellent transport links, just 10 minutes from London Luton International Airport and 25 minutes from London St Pancras International, the Rothamsted Conference Centre has outstanding facilities providing the perfect environment to host a range of events from world-class collaborative occasions for academic bodies and multinational industries to promotional events and conferences. The Conference Centre’s unique situation on the Rothamsted Research campus positions it to host agricultural and scientific events and provides conference organisers with exciting opportunities to broaden their network of collaborative partners in agricultural science.
