Located on the waterfront of Rice Lake, our natural setting provides an ideal place for team meetings, group events, weddings or corporate retreats. Elmhirst’s is a 5th generation family resort and is proud to support our local community with delicious food & drink, much of which is grown here, raised here, caught here or sourced nearby. Two onsite restaurants, including a casual pub and fine dining with a view, as well as full catering facilities are available. Delegates and guests can take advantage of many amenities and activities at no additional charge. Go for a swim, take in some nature, or try a new sport. Team members can escape the routine and connect through lively new challenges and experiences. In any season we can develop a personalized team-building itinerary for your group. Voyageur canoe races, axe throwing, fishing derby, cooking classes, wine tastings, and yoga to name a few. Ask about our classic Johnny Canuck Games –– a true Canadian favourite. We create dream weddings in any season. Elmhirst's Resort provides a fairytale setting for a perfect day for the happy couple. The couple and their guests will be able to relax and enjoy the moment, while we look after all the details. Some of the magic we offer includes: indoor and outdoor ceremony locations; a beautiful backdrop for photos over Rice Lake and200 acres of farm and nature; elegant party room options; horse drawn carriage or sleigh rides; and boat cruises. Cottage accommodations are lakeside and spacious. Each comes with private deck, BBQ, fireplace, LCD TV, cable, WIFI, fully-equipped kitchen and coffee maker. All units have parking. Toiletries, towels and linens are supplied.
