About us
Welcome to Hôtel des Horlogers, a place to connect with nature, make time for yourself and for the things that matter. Located in the heart of La Vallée de Joux, it only takes 50 minutes from Geneva airport and 45 minutes from Lausanne to reach the Hotel. The building was designed by the architectural study Bjarke Ingles Group who wanted to create a synergy between the nature and the Hôtel des Horlogers. The 50 rooms and suites overlooking the Risoud forest meet the highest standards of eco-responsible tourism and have a welcoming and warm decor with raw materials from the region. The catering signed by Chef Emmanuel Renaut - awarded 3 Michelin stars and named “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” - is an invitation to taste dishes made with seasonal products carefully selected from the best producers of the region. Whether in the relaxed atmosphere of La Brasserie le Gogant, in the private space of La Table des Horlogers or in the event rooms which offers breathtaking view of the valley and the Risoud forest, everything is made to live an exclusive gastronomic moment. Edelweiss, Rodhiolas and Daffodils from the Swiss Alps are the key ingredients of our treatments offered in Le Spa by Alpeor. Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
