About us

Villa La Principessa is an aristocratic sumptuous-style residence with elegant private park, located at the foot of Lucca hills, a unique setting for a quiet and charming stay. There are many tourist activities that can be developed taking Villa La Principessa as starting point: the wonderful Lucca at just 3 kilometers, Lucca hills and Montecarlo but also Pisa or Florence are within walking distance. Do not forget the wonderful Versilia and the charming Cinque Terre. Hotel Villa La Principessa offers 33 elegant rooms and 8 luxurious Junior Suite and Suite recently renewed without altering their unique style. The hotel also offers 4 meeting rooms for up to 100 people.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
