About us

Stanwell House Hotel is a cosmopolitan and stylish boutique hotel situated in the heart of Lymington, ideally positioned minutes from the quay. Located on the edge of the New Forest in Hampshire, Stanwell House Hotel is the perfect choice for a relaxing escape to the country. Stanwell House has a selection of individually designed suites from Garden View, Terrace Suites and two with their own roof Terrace are perfect for enjoying the summer sun and romantic moonlight moments. Featuring a flat screen TV in both the bedroom and the lounge area each suite also contains iPod docking station, improved entertainment facilities are 'as standard' in all Stanwell House suites. Stanwell House Hotel is licensed for Civil Marriages and provides a dramatic setting for that most romantic of days. The ceremony takes place in our Conservatory, a bright, elegant room with old York stone flags, stylish rattan chairs and banquettes smothered in cushions. Fully dressed or simply as it is this room offers a romantic and original option for your special day. Without a marquee, the maximum capacity is 80 seated, 100+ buffet style. (Garden Marquee based weddings are by special arrangement and are subject to a full hotel booking or certain time restrictions.) Many guests do make a weekend house party out of the occasion and hire the whole hotel, which means the drinking and revelry can go on into the wee small hours without disturbing other guests.
