About us
The Mackay Entertainment & Convention Center (MECC) is located in the heart of Mackay and is just a short stroll away from a plethora of City Centre restaurants, an award-winning Regional Art Gallery, hotels, a library, shopping precincts and our magnificent blue water Pioneer River. The Center is easily accessible via foot, car, bike or bus and approximately 10 minutes via taxi from the Mackay Airport. Within walking distance are 500+ four star and above rooms. The Mackay Entertainment & Convention Centre (MECC) is a purpose built venue, catering for a broad range of events, including meetings, conferences, product launches, award dinners and exhibitions. The Mackay Region sits on the Queensland Coast, half way between Brisbane and Cairns.
