About us

Our wonderful hotel was built around a Spanish sighting tower in the XV century. It is perched over the sea and it is on a level of 100 meters above the sea. This is an incomparable position, where you can enjoy a charming seascape. The sight offers a global view of Giglio and Giannutri islands. In sunny days you can also see the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago. Torre di Cala Piccola is dislocated in different buildings along the hill, connected by small paths and flowerbeds beside the cliff. You can choose among 49 sea sight rooms, furnished with very fine taste. The hotel is in a beautiful seaside location with a very nice, relaxed atmosphere. The room are very clean, pleasant and airy with plenty of natural light and great sea views. It has an excellent pool.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
