Centered on the picturesque coastline, Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa offers an inspiring setting infused with energy, making it a premier destination for corporate gatherings, retreats, training sessions, and conferences. With 40,000 square feet of versatile event space, the hotel provides a seamless experience, from grand ballrooms to intimate boardrooms, including the expansive Grand Ballroom, multiple breakout rooms, and the scenic outdoor Garden Terrace. Every space can be tailored to meet your specific needs. The hotel features 560 guestrooms and suites, four dining venues, the luxurious Spa Adeline, tennis courts and pickleball facilities, as well as two outdoor pools and whirlpools. Serafina was Maurizio’s grandmother, and the name of her eponymous restaurant in the heart of Trastevere (Rome), where Maurizio first began making pizzas at the age of 14. She was a tough woman and wonderful chef.. an inspiration for his love of cooking then, and inspiration of how he is determined to persevere despite the difficult circumstances of today. We hope to create a warm, elegant space where neighbors and friends can come together. We have an amazing team with our partner Giuseppe Terminiello, the co-owner of Piccolo Forno with us (we also own Ideale, in North Beach as well), and Umberto Cannarsa, an accomplished and incredibly talented chef from Rome, who had his own successful restaurants there.
