About us

Our hotel is along the main road through Mt Kisco, 10 minutes from Interstate 684. We are less than 15 minutes from Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, Rockefeller State Park Preserve, and Harvest Moon Farm and Orchard. Our outdoor pool is open seasonally, and we also offer an on-site restaurant and bar as well as 6,000 sq. ft. of event space.

Originally constructed in 1762, the main building served as a vital stagecoach stop along the Old Post Road, a major thoroughfare connecting New York City to Boston. During the Revolutionary War, Bedford and its surroundings played a pivotal role as a strategic outpost. The inn, with its vantage point and resources, is believed to have provided shelter and sustenance to soldiers and local militia. Stories passed down through generations suggest that the inn’s wine cellar may have been used as a hiding place for valuable supplies and even people during times of conflict. In the 18th and 19th centuries, weary travelers and postal riders would find respite within its sturdy walls, enjoying the warmth and hospitality of this rural haven. Yes, Hilton is committed to reducing waste across our portfolio. All of our hotels were required to remove plastic straws, stir sticks and cocktail picks in 2019, and we are currently transitioning from individual bath toiletries to full-size dispensers.
