About us

Falls Of Lora Hotel is a fine owner-run hotel overlooking Loch Etive set back on the A85. It is approximately 5 miles before Oban, 90 miles north-west of Glasgow or Edinburgh. The main Hotel was built in 1886, the modern extension was added in the 70's. The Hotel is beautifully appointed with a comfortable lounge and Dining room for advance reservations of 10 or more people or functions. The Falls of Lora Hotel has a wide range of accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets. The hotel consists of 30 guest rooms which are completely furnished with various amenities. Relax in the quiet comfort of the residents lounge or hold that important meeting in our small but well appointed meeting room, which can accommodate up to 45 people 'theater' style and 24 'boardroom' style. It is 40 foot long and 16 foot wide. Our formal Dining Room is only open for advance reservations for parties of 10 or over.
