The meticulously restored Spanish Colonial Revival architectural gem is completely new from the ground up and features dazzling spaces with mid-century Moorish décor from celebrity designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard. The rooftop pool deck offers panoramic views of the iconic Santa Barbara beachfront and the towering Santa Ynez mountains. SPA: Majorelle is an urban sanctuary offering an intimate, bespoke and restorative experience. The Turkish inspired 2,500 square-foot spa features 4 treatment rooms. DINING: Classic meets contemporary at Blackbird, our signature bar and restaurant, featuring inventive cocktails and local wines paired with exquisite Mediterranean-influenced, locally sourced, and hyper-seasonal cuisine. In Santa Barbara's first year of inclusion into the Michelin Guide, Blackbird has been recommended with L'Assiette Michelin. MEETINGS & EVENTS: For your clients considering a group, social or corporate event, the jaw-dropping 2,850 square foot Alhambra Ballroom is the pinnacle of Hotel Californian's unmatched meeting spaces. Both the ballroom and foyer are decadently covered in beautiful black & white Moroccan tile, promising a dazzling experience for every guest. Set next to the 4,500 square foot Court of Califia event lawn, the ballroom and outdoor space are ready to accommodate any event, from rehearsal dinner to full-on extravaganza. Against all odds, we have opened up our newest restaurant, Serafina, This little gem of a restaurant, perched on top of Nob Hill, has truly been a labor of love, as we were set to open at the end of February, and then had to do so during the ensuing pandemic....We are so excited about Serafina, which has been a concept in the making for many years for us. Serafina was Maurizio’s grandmother, and the name of her eponymous restaurant in the heart of Trastevere (Rome), where Maurizio first began making pizzas at the age of 14. The main ballroom, Alhambra, is 2,850 and divisible into three sections, which can be combined: Alhambra I - 1,440 sq. ft. Alhambra II - 740 sq. ft. Alhambra III - 670 sq. ft. Adjacent to the Alhambra Ballroom is the Court of Califia outdoor event lawn, which is 4,500 sq. ft. Above Alhambra is the stunning Serena rooftop deck with views of the Santa Barbara beach front and Santa Ynez mountains. Serena Rooftop Event Deck is 3,670 sq. ft. In addition to the Alhambra Ballroom and outdoor event space, there are (4) breakout meeting spaces: Flynn - 520 sq. ft. Chaplin - 660 sq. ft.
