About us

Hotel Arca is situated S.S. Flaminia just 1 km. from the historical center of Spoleto and in a strategic position regarding all the main attractions of Umbria. Comfortable, practical and tastefully furnished, with views of the green Umbrian hills. The 57 ensuite rooms are on 3 floors connected by lifts and an inside staircase. Restaurant, Large with panoramic windows and a great view of the hills, it offers the best selection of local and national cuisine, together with an unequalled selection of Umbrian wines. Quick service menu available for groups which satisfies the tastes of all, while offering individuals a vast à la carte choice. In the morning the restaurant becomes a lively breakfast room offering the finest Italian coffee and cappuccino, together with fresh pastries, and a rich buffet to explore.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout. Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
