About us
President Abraham Lincoln Springfield - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel is located in the heart of historic downtown Springfield, in one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas and tourist centers in central Illinois. This sophisticated city is a hub of commerce, and is known for its easy access to all of the Lincoln sites plus New Salem Village. In addition, we are the only hotel with an underground concourse leading directly into the Bank of Springfield Convention Center also known as the BOS Center. Host a conference at this Springfield, IL hotel with 14,000 sq.ft. of flexible meeting space, ideal for a variety of events for up to 600 guests.

Has your hotel taken steps to reduce single-use plastics, such as removing plastic straws (except upon request for guests with disabilities), stirrers and cotton buds? If yes, please provide detail as to the steps you have taken to reduce single use plastics?
Yes, Hilton is committed to reducing waste across our portfolio. All of our hotels were required to remove plastic straws, stir sticks and cocktail picks in 2019, and we are currently transitioning from individual bath toiletries to full-size dispensers.
Does your hotel generate (onsite) or purchase (offsite) renewable energy (beyond your utility's standard offerings)? If yes, please describe your practices for generating or purchasing renewable energy.
