About us
Welcome to Stans, the beautiful capital of Nidwalden. Our Hotel is located adjacent to the gorgeous Town Square with its baroc Church and sculptures as well as the town centre. Find yourself surrounded by the beauty of the Swiss landscape and the incredible backdrop of the Alps. The hotel “Engel“ is readily equipped with localities that fulfill all of your wishes. Enjoy the sun and view in our lovely terrace or let yourself be pampered by our elegant yet homely cuisine in our “Stübli“. Come and make the experience with our team of “angels“. The Hotel offers its guests with elegantly designed, comfortable and well furnished guest rooms. In addition, its facilities are appropriate for more private weddings or can accommodate a big party of 200 people. It can offer everything from small meetings in our traditional “Genossenstübli" (up to 12 people) to seminars in our hall (up to 200 people).
