The Oberoi Beach Resort, Lombok is located on the island's north-west coast, 1 hour 45 minutes from the Airport. It is set in 24 acres of lush tropical gardens with 600 meters of ocean frontage and 200 meters long private white sand beach. The resort offers 20 Villas (12 with private swimming pool) and 30 Pavilion rooms. It also boasts a superb conference facility to cater for your business events too.

Accompanied by a guide from the hotel, adults and kids can travel by a ‘cidomo’ horse-drawn cart to experience the sights and sounds of Tanjung’s busy market, which sells everything that is grown or produced on the island. Here, coffee beans, fruits, vegetables, meat, smoked fish on sticks, blocks of locally harvested tobacco, peanuts and cashews are all available somewhere amid the rich aromas, ripe smells and chaos of the heaped stalls. Additionally, guests can bargain for textiles, baskets, and bamboo crafts.

Gentle Trek to Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep Waterfalls:
Adults and children can enjoy a gentle riverside trek to two beautiful waterfalls in the Rinjani National Park. The mellow adventure, in the company of a guide, begins with a descent down a well-trodden flight of steps. Within minutes, guests will catch their first glimpse of the 40-metre, tiered waterfall and natural spring known as Sendang Gile. The trek then continues upstream along the banks of the river to the breathtaking Tiu Kelep Waterfall.

Snorkeling in Gili island
Daytrips include snorkelling excursions to the nearby Gili Islands, where there are some particularly beautiful reefs teeming with underwater creatures and phosphorous coral. Accompanied by a member of ‘The Oberoi Beach Club’ team, adults and children will have the opportunity to snorkel the reef and observe its gentle, nimble residents. The Gilis are famous for turtles, and the snorkelling guide knows exactly where to find them. Guests are almost guaranteed to see a Hawksbill turtle feeding on sponges and hydroids in the coral garden. The Hawksbill is listed as an endangered species and it is a real privilege to get close to one of these graceful creatures in its natural habitat.
