About us

The Hotel Sveti Kriz (Saint Cross) is a three star hotel set by the sea, surrounded by the pine forest in the vicinity of the Saint Cross church. It is located on the north-east side of the island of Ciovo, overlooking the beach. The island is connected to the mainland with a bridge so our hotel is only 3 kilometres away from the center of Trogir and 6 kilometres from the Split airport. The hotel has 10 apartments and 40 rooms, a restaurant, aperitif bar with a terrace and WiFi, cocktail bar on the beach, two conference rooms suitable for business events and wellness center. Each apartment has a living room, bedroom, bathroom and a balcony or terrace. The restaurant of the hotel Sveti Kriz in the beautiful ambient offers excellent gastronomic pleasure combined from national and international cuisine.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era. Liberated from the confines of a single location, Covert Cocktail Club now brings the speakeasy right to your door—be it at your home, office, bar mitzvah, dinner party, bachelor/ette party or anywhere you choose!
