About us

The 501 Hotel enjoys an excellent location that places it in a strategic point of the famous Coast of Calabria. A few km from Tropea, Pizzo and close to Serra San Bruno, Vibo Valentia, the city where the hotel is located, is a major tourist destination of beauty, which offers varied and attractive scenery for a dream vacation. The hotel is an ideal base from which to discover the wonders of Calabria. The 124 rooms, divided into Classic, Deluxe Suite, are spacious and functional, well furnished and bright & many of which overlook the Gulf of St. Euphemia. All rooms are equipped with exclusive luxury furnishings and the latest technology. With ten meeting rooms equipped with audio-video art, the hotel is the ideal location for congresses, incentives, and events of all kinds. The meeting rooms can accommodate a total of 2000 seats. The hotel also offers three terraces of over 400 square meters reserved for events of great prestige like receptions, celebrations and festivals of all kinds.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
